Are the smoking health effects exaggerated?

Are the smoking health effects exaggerated?I know it's harmful but sometimes I think that people exaggerate smoking effects. My dad has been smoking for 20 years and he doesn't have any health problems. I know lots of people who have been smoking all their lives but never had smoking related illnesses.

I don't think the effects are exaggerated.

Smoking kills.

It doesn't mean that every smoker is going to die straight away, but every cigarette is damaging their health.

Well, I am a nurse and I work with people all the time who are dying from smoking related illnesses. With most people, it does eventually catch up to them. COPD and lung cancer are not good ways to go either. There's nothing worse then having a patient who literally can't breath. I wish you could see the things I see, then you wouldn't even be pondering this.

Only the Marijuana smoking health effects!

Well the obvious health risk is aging, my dad has been a smoker for over 20 years and he is 44. He looks like he is 70. no hair, wrinkles, its bad!

Tommy
