I had smoker placenta and never have smoked a day in my life. what caused it and are there any dangers in it?I had a healthy baby girl. But when the doctor was getting my placenta out he said I had smoker placenta. I have never smoked EVER I have severe asthma and I know the dangers of smoking let alone smoking and being pregnant. What causes "smoker placenta"? Are their any concerns if I get pregnant again? Oh and my doctor also left placenta in me (about 3 feet worth and the actual SAC the baby was in) What could all this mean in the long run for me since I do want to have another baby in the future?
It was hanging out of me. It was not like a bag you deliever like most people it was pieces I delivered. And yes there was 3 feet hanging out of me 4 days after i gave birth. this is not a "troll" question

Never heard of 'smokers placenta'. Sorry.
However, I sense something fishy in this question, as doctors don't leave the placenta inside you, because it can cause infection which can kill you. It also isn't 3 feet long, and every woman delivers the placenta, sac, and other pregnancy by-products shortly after the actual birth.

Sorry, but it's raising a 'troll' red flag to me.

I agree with the other user. This is a troll question.
