Nicotine........................?How do you get it out/off your walls that have been painted?

The person who lived here before us smoked like a chimney and the landlord painted over it, how do i get the walls to stop seaping the nicotine out?

Just wash the walls.

It is a strong smell and hard to get rid of. Try using the oust stuff that kills the odor instead of masking it. I'm sure that there is a counter active chemical out there that really does work. You could always try lighting a candle. It actually helped get rid if the smell of nicotine from my grandparents house.
