smoking health problems?

smoking health problems?if you would please take the time to listen to my question and try to give your opinion, i would be truly greatful.
heres the scoop. i have been smoking cigarettes off and on since i was 9. i was a pot head for two years but i recently quit. however, i have been smoking cigarettes much more frequently now then before and they are getting very hard to quit. i used to be able to make a pack last a week but now they are only lasting 3 days or so.
i wouldnt have a problem with this if it wasnt for the fact that i have been feeling sick lately.
at first i thought i just had the somach flu but its been a couple of weeks now and i have an ever persisting stomach ache. or so i thought, now i think it may be my lungs that are hurting because i have developed this horrible wheezing cough
im trying to quit but im pretty stuck on them.
so the point of me typing this is that i would like to hear your opinion on if its the cigarettes thats causing my health issues or not. and also how can i quit?
in addition, it doesnt hurt to breath but it hurts when i put pressure on my abdomen.
oh, and im 16....

something unexpected
It is hard to tell whether the cigarettes are making you sick or not. Best bet would be to see a doctor to get a good prognosis.

However, I am familiar with the difficulty of quiting. I myself have never smoked, because I knew if I started, I would never quit. I have no will power.

But, my father smokes like crazy. Some things that I have heard that help the quitting process are chewing gum.

also- an exboyfriend of mine used to smoke, and he took up kickboxing. He said after the first class he never wanted to smoke again.
Running, he said, was very helpful in his quitting. Realizing how his smoking was affecting his body really made him determined to quit.

This might not be such a determining factor for you, but if you have friends that don't smoke, try to be around them as much as you can. Don't allow yourself to buy any more cigarettes. This way, you will have to find someone to bum them off if you don't have any... and sometimes that can be hard.

Try to stay away from other people that smoke, or at least ask them to not smoke around you.
I would tell you not to go to bars or drink alcohol, but you are under 21, and I assume that you are not getting drunk at your age, but who knows.

I am also assuming that one of your parents smokes, which is how you got the cigs in the first place. If they know that you smoke, tell them you are trying to quit.

Something that really helps is vocalizing what you are trying to accomplish. Not only will you hear your goal everyday, but other people will hear it, and ask you about it, and your progress that you've made to quit.

Maybe talk to a school councelor about this. They might have some advice.

Good Luck on quitting.
