How did you deal with withdrawal symptoms (after quitting addiction)?

How did you deal with withdrawal symptoms (after quitting addiction)?I want to know your experience (if you have had one)

I am not dealing very well with withdrawal...it makes me terribly depressed and clumsy.
Please leave some advice for me.

Thank You

Falcon
Try moving on to a new hobby or activity. It sounds like you may have a void, empty spot that needs to be filled.

If this is not the case, then perhaps you should find the cause of your attachment to whatever it is that is giving you withdrawals and find a way to break away from it. I wish I could offer more advice, but the information provided is limited. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure what you are withdrawing from, but your Doctor can give you meds to help if it is really bad. Other than that... there is no magic answer....try to bide your time, try to do some activities when it bothers you the most. All the best to you !!

Racer is right. Benzodiazapines will help tremendously. You may also need to take some other drugs to help deal with the cravings. Sleep mainly for the first few days. Antidepressants or anti-anxiety (benzos) after the withdrawal symptoms subside to help mood.
