• $ 600 million for the Federal Government to buy new hybrid cars
• $ 7 billion for modernizing federal buildings and facilities
• $ 81 billion for Medicaid
• $ 36 billion for expanded unemployment benefits
• $ 20 billion for food stamps
• $ 83 billion for the earned income credit for people who don't pay income tax
• $ 252 billion is for income-transfer payments
• $ 246 million tax break for Hollywood movie producers to buy motion picture film
• $ 88 million for the Coast Guard to design a new polar icebreaker
• $ 448 million for constructing the Department of Homeland Security headquarters

its a joke, a cruel joke on the middle class taxpayer. there are those non-working liberals and ignorant democrats who will say it is needed, but it will only prolong the recovery. it is a spending bill and the next one will also be a whopper.
its time for the party sheep to wake up and smell the 2 party corruption. but i doubt it will happen. the American people have lost their will for true freedom and now will perish by sucking at the teat of its govt. and go into the history of all other great countries before us.

Nothing "stimulating" there. Obama is not giving a tax-cut. He is giving you a reduction in the amount of tax withheld in your paycheck.You do realize you will still pay the tax on this money.If you are used to a big tax refund, next year it will be $ 400.00 less, which by the way isn't a bad thing.I just want everyone to understand that we are not getting a tax cut.The only ones getting a tax-cut are the low income people who pay little or no taxes.Please don't respond that they pay payroll tax,fuel tax etc... We all pay those taxes.
