Questions about quitting smoking...?

Questions about quitting smoking...?Alright, I'm in the process of quitting smoking. I used to smoke about a pack a day, and I've cut down quite a bit and haven't had a cig in two days. I knew irritability would come due to cravings, but I'm also extremely moody and acting pretty immature when I get upset.

Is this normal?

Also, for those who have successfully quit, any tips? I really do want to quit smoking for good.

GENIUS!!!!
yes it is

Yes, it's normal.

Exercise, do other calming activities to relieve stress. (i.e. yoga)

Yes it is normal.
It is hard to say what will work for you. Some need aids - pills, gum, patches, etc. Some do better with support groups, quitting buddies, etc. Some do fine alone. Some just need friends and family behind them. Just make a plan and stick to it.

Yes moody is normal.

Advice use some sort of nicotine supplement like the gum or patch.

Quitting sucks.
But live long and prosper.

When i quit, (i was at about a pack every 2 days)
i just stopped and saved all my cigarette money.
and bought myself an itouch when i got enough money
as a reward for quitting. :) so technicly i didn't save any money.
but i saved my lungs. and got a itouch...it's worth it....i don't know why i wasted 3 years smoking..
