What are the negative effects of smoking k2 durring pregnany?I am curious to know of the negative effects of smoking k2 while pregnant. Obviously I do not intend to do this, however it has been posed as a question up for debate among myself and a few friends who are also parents. No one knew the true scientific negative effects, though all agreed that smoking durring pregnancy was overall unhealthy. Does anyone know of any proven negative effects on the baby/mother for those who DO use this legal substance during pregnany?

This substance is DANGEROUS and you can die from using this stuff - I would think that is negative effects enough! You can go to Erowid.com and type in K-2 and read up on the adverse reactions others have had, including killing themselves, while taking this substance. It is fast becoming illegal is a lot of states due to it's severe effects on the body and brain.

blah blah blah it will kill you... NOT TRUE. Lets just say i have a friend who partook in this stuff for over 12 months and never died, went to the hospital, had a panic attack or anything like that and he is still partaking in several variations of this stuff... either way the stuff isnt very good for you. according to "science" it sufficates your brain of oxygen thus giving you the euphoric effect (how true this is i have no clue) your better off lighting up like cheech n chong to be honest.

NO one, period, knows the true scientific effects of these blends.
1. Good luck finding a blend that actually gives a COMPLETE ingredient list, including which synthetic chemicals are in it
2. Good luck finding a blend that lists appropriate dosage
3. None of these chems have been overly researched for their safety. Toxicity for some of them are available, and there are user reports on the net for all of them. But no actual studies assessing its safety (no refermadness studies AND no legit studies)
4. These are not synthetic thc, so no one should be smoking this thinking its safe because thc is safe. They are cannabanoids ,and they are synthetic, but they are chemically nothing at all like thc.
5. Its not legal to consume as a drug. Almost all of the blends are sold as incense, and the chems themselves are sold as fertalizer, plant food, bonzai treatments, etc. And virtually every single package will say, not for human consumption. That legal loop hole allows it to be sold and possessed, but it becomes an illegal drug the second you ingest it.
6. Drug tests are available for some of them, so she shouldnt be thinking she will fall under the radar on that.
7. A mom would be safer securing her own ingredients and mixing the blends herself.
8. Smoke of any kind can lower birth weight
9. Some of the chems in these blends are reported to be or as having chemically addictive properties. It would suck to give birth to a drug addicted baby (which can happen even if you yourself arent addicted, providing you consume it regularly enough)
10. I feel pregnant people would be safer with real marijuana by far, and cooking or vaping as opposed to smoking.
