why do people say marijuana is a drug? read the detail dont f@#%ing read just the title?it helps people, no deaths has been acured only if it was laced, they say it kills brain cells but it dont look at this link http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Does_smoking_weed_kill_brain_cells ,it does kill sperm cells but why do doctors prescribe it and why is it legal in some states if it is a illegal substance in other states. the unites states know that there is no getting rid of it, it is acually better than alcohol, they think that if they stop making blunt wraps that bud smokers will stop smoking (look it up) then they will say no head shops and then smokers are going to use foil and other shit until they say this is bullshit and they start smoking crack and meth ( wont happen to all stoners but some retared people will do it) then it going to begin a war with the stoners and the united states, stoners can buy guns off the street and since they live in the united states they know what the united states military,army and other war protegys use and im sure that the stoners will be kinda smarter than the military cuz stoners and united states people look alike so they dont know whos a stoner or not. im 85.8% positive it going to become a big thing and im barley 16 years old but its my choice to smoke so fuck all you haters against young smokers, its not bad it just that some people really like it, its not called addicted either they just like the feeling of it define addition (the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice or to something that is psychologically or physically habit-forming, as narcotics, to such an extent that its cessation causes severe trauma.) and they will start smoking other thing to get high (not saying all but 12% of stoners will)(much love for stoners) sure there is side affects to it but it dont mean that this drug can harm you like asprine,ibprophine,niquil,any pain medication will make you have side affects like if you take too much of oxycotin you can OD but they still proscribe it, loratabs they still proscribe it, they still sell rat poison, bleach, and all other chemicals to make meth, crack, heroine, and other drugs so tell me why marijuana is a drug if they still proscribe it to people who need it and who dont need it cuz i know alot of people who say they get medical weed for asamnia but they acually dont. medical marijuana is a hydro chonic to me, i spoke with a doctor at UNM hospital, he said exatly "medical marijuana has extra THC, thats why they give a inch x half inch marijuana nugget to the patients that have a sleeping problem(asamnia) and people who have a problem eating (anarexia) so tell me whyyy????????!??!!!?!!!?!?!?!??!?!?

its a drug because it is used to help cure illness. just like any other drug like ibuprofen and Tylenol. even those two things can be missed used and cause death and such. the reason that weed has a big label on it is because it is commonly miss used. if Tylenol was used in the same ways marijuana is used inappropriately it would be just as big of a problem as marijuana. its something no one really thinks about but that's my opinion.

Love the rant, but cannabinoids are drugs just like aspirin, penicillin, ethanol, and methamphetamine are drugs. Any distinctions that people make between bioactive chemicals, whether based on medical value, legality, recreational potential, or safety, are arbitrary and meaningless. I agree that the stigma against cannabis is unfounded, but like it or not you're still 'taking drugs' when you ingest it, just like you are when you pop a Tylenol for your headache.
