Are these symptoms of nicotine withdrawal?I'm in the process of quitting smoking and I'm experiencing runny nose, wheezing, dizziness and fatigue, chills, stomach cramps, and depression. Is this due to quitting smoking or did I happen to get sick at the same time?

yes some people feel rotten in the first few days and actually worse. Take yourself off to bed and will pass i promise, Keep up the good work

I have no scientific evidence, but when I quit smoking I had similar symptoms. It would be your body trying to push out the toxins that have built up. I was extremely sick with what felt like a very bad cold and the flu, but once I got over it, I fet much better.

All these can be symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. Go see a doc if you are not better in a week.

Yep, it sounds like physical withdrawls. Nicotene is a drug and your body does react when it's not getting it's fix. This can last for up to a few weeks. It will subside, but you will have the mental and emotional effects that can linger for months. Good luck I know that it is very difficult.
