Can you die from quitting smoking cigarettes cold turkey?I have heard that you can die from quitting certain drugs cold turkey. I have been smoking for ten years and I was wondering if I quit cold turkey if it could be harmful.

i have never heard of it. When I tried to quit all I felt was like i wanted to cry and smack everyone in the face! I quit for a month and i didn't die...i started back up again tho.

No. I smoked for 20 odd years and quit one time no help no plasters no nothing just sheer will.

No way you can die from quitting smoking. In fact its a good way to stop smoking if you can follow it.
