Does anybody know of a disease involved with smoking?im doing a report on the respiratory system, and i need a disease that is involved with smoking, and if you have a picture of an unhealthy lung, i would aprecciate it very much.

ANY kind of cancer. Both of my parents were smokers - rather heavily, too. My mother died of lung cancer; she had 1/4 of one lung removed, but it had spread to her back and ribs before she died in great pain. My father is still alive, but he has had colon cancer - probably not because of smoking (but who knows for sure) and has had ALL of his colon removed. It does not appear to have spread, but he has both emphysema and diabetes, too, and is on oxygen 24/7.
It doesn't just have to be smoking, either. My brother chewed snuff for years, and barely escaped getting oral cancer.

now, there is a condition called TAO[thrombo angitis obliterans] that affect the limbs of a person who is a chronic smoker.
in this condition, the blood supply to the leg will be diminished.
you have other causes above my answer.
