How common is a rash reaction from Zyban?I took Zyban to help me quit smoking, and after about two weeks I broke out in the worst case of hives I have ever seen...I thought I was going to die!...It has been four years , and the questions I have is...can I try it again to try to quit smoking, or should I try another route? And also have you heard of this reaction from others using Zyban?

Ok to answer the first question a rash can happen about 3-5% to the people that take it. Can you try it again? I would not. Your body has created anti-bodies against this medication. If you take it again you could have the same reaction or worse. Not to mention the medication you have should have expired by now. You will need a new prescription. Go to your doctor and talk to them, there are new medications on the market to help.
