So you "want" to quit smoking ... then stop. Yes, I'm an ex smoker. Yes, I quit many times and I always told myself I was quiting. When you really want to quit ... you will ... cold turkey. I smoked 1.5 - 2 packs a day. Worked in a high stress job and studied and taught martial arts to relieve stress. One day after pushing my students (and myself) through a very intense form, my students recovered their breath before I did. I walked out of the temple / dojo and threw the cigarettes in the trash. Whenever I wanted a smoke, I remembered the difficulty I had catching my breath. That was over thirtyfive years ago. If you really want to quit ... do it. Otherwise it's just lip service.
