OK! I entered mytimetoquit.com which was advertised on TV regarding quit smoking and ended up here. What's up?I was expecting to see some link or an article on how to quit smoking, but I ended up here. As far as I could determine there was no such information. Did I just miss it. If so I would like someone out there to tell me where the link was. I am a smoker with COPD and on oxygen. How stupid is that. It just shows you the addtive power they have over some people. Oh, I have tried to quit, without success, as I just lite up another one. They say that second hand smoke will kill you also, there are two other people that smoke in the house, so where is the advantage in going through the "hell" to quit. I'm aware of how I must smell to people that don't smoke, my cloths must really smell. I wish that I had never started when I was a teenager. I've been smoking for about 50 years. I am old enough to know better, but the extra stress of quiting would probably kill me also. So I continue to light up hour after hour. Just call me stinky.

I don't have an answer since I had the same question as you. I was looking for mytimetoquit.com and here I am. I did this once already but guess I'm not doing it right. I new at this. But your question and what you said really struck in my heart. I am 54 years old and feeling the effects of COPD. Still smoking round the clock. I want to quit so badly. For myself, for my granddaughter who lives with us and for financial reasons. I also believe that it has cost me several jobs. Even though I have gone to great lengths to cover the smell up. I sure interviewers smell it. I can remember my first cigarette and it made me throw up. I wish to God I had listened to my body telling me to stop then. I thought I was the only one who felt like this I would like to talk to you more . Hang in there and I hope this gets to you.
