smoking cessation classes?i'm trying to quit smoking. 10 yrs - 1 pack ultra lights a day.
i've been using nicorette. it helps and i think i'm over the nicotine addiction, but the habit part of it i'm having trouble with .
has anyone tried a cessation class? how do they work? what do they do? how effective are they???

You story sounds similar to mine. I smoked a pack a day of ultra lights for around 15 years (well a few of those years I smoked lights) and decided I needed to quit. Since I have absolutely no will power what so ever, I decided to try the laser treatment. It worked it has been over 1 year now and I have been smoke free, what is better is that it actually grosses me out no cravings ever!! The first 4 days was the hardest since I had to fight the habit (and not the addiction) my cure for that? everytime I would normally have a cigerette I would pop a hard candy in my mouth... Now I just have to break my sweet tooth LOL But I will take cavities over cancer anyday!! Good Luck!!
