What are the "quit smoking campaign" benefiting by telling us not to smoke?They tell us to stop smoking because it's dangerous ( we all know) but what are they benefiting by telling us not to smoke? Why is it important for them telling people not to smoke, I know that it is for health reasons but what do they win from this?

Less taxpayer money going to the gov't to treat patients in the hospital who developed lung cancer from smoking or 2nd hand smoking. Plus, it's just a nice feeling to know you're preventing many people from suffering the ill affects of smoking.
