What is the difference between a little and a lot of cigarette smoking?

What is the difference between a little and a lot of cigarette smoking? Not many people deal with the question between light and frequent cigarette smoking in the smoking debate, rather just say that smoking is bad. I'm just wondering if anyone has any actual evidence showing if or if not there are significant differences in results of light smoking versus frequent smoking. Thanks

You should Google it .... it might be hard to find a study. I'd like to know the answer since I'm a light smoker.

My logical guess would be that if you smoke a pack a day or more, then you have a good chance of lung cancer, but if you smoke like 5 cigarettes a day then you probably have a lower chance, but still a way higher chance than a nonsmoker.

Also, I know that if you quit smoking for 10 years, your chance of getting lung cancer is the same as anyone else in the general population who has never smoked.

Hopefully some people will post some links to some good studies.

It depends on how hard the person sucks on the cigarette.

Did you know sucking too hard on a cigarette can cause you to have a spontaneous orgasm?

The damage caused by smoking is cumulative. So even if you smoke only a few cigarettes a day or just a pack on Friday night when you go play pool, repeatedly doing so puts you right up there in the danger area.

What do you think? Answer below! Smoking Cessation - Quit Smoking Today. Smoking Cessation helps smokers kick their nicotine addiction, providing tools, information and support for people quitting smoking.
