Why have I been having a horrible time smoking marijuana?Recently I've cut back on smoking pot because I have been having horrible times while under the influence. I experience intensely elevated heart rate, shortness of breath, panic attacks, and a general sense that something is horribly wrong. I've been a regular smoker now for about 3 years and I've only experienced similar effects off of massive bong rips and or brownies and such. I bought an at home drug test and it was only positive for THC so laced marijuana is not the issue. I am having these symptoms off of as little as one hit. I went to a doctor and had an EKG and they said everything was normal and my chest pain could be caused by stress. I was wondering of anyone else has experienced anything similar or if you had any ideas as to what could be causing it. I really enjoy smoking and it would be sad to have to quit.

shortness of breath is just from the THC and the smoke. i had it ALL THE TIME. and yeah your heartrate is going to go up but idk about the panic attacks dude.
maybe you have asthma?
when i had the shortness of breath i just used my inhaler and i was good

panic attacks can be explained by some type of anxiety disorder, pot is known to trigger latent psychological problems. does your family have a history psychological disorders?
