Smoking Cessation side effects?I recently quit smoking cigarettes and marijuana and now I have an annoying hacking cough that brings up some nasty junk. I'm not sick or anything so I don't know why i have this cough. Is it possible that this is from the cilia in my throat regaining their proper function? If not what are other possible causes.

Yes it is the cilia, but they aren't in your throat they are in your lungs pushing out some of the tar. I mean it could also be that you have a cold or somthing, but most likely it is just from quitting.
When I quit this happened to me. It seems like it took a few weeks to develop and lasted a month or so.
