Started using Super Pump 250 for working out.Smoking Marijuana after working out. NO Xplode, NaNo Vapor good?Hi, I just bought 2 bottles of 1.7 lbs super pump on eBay for about 75 bucks. 1 For me and 1 for my brother. I have done research on it and stuff and it seems cool I haven't tried NO Xplode or NaNo Vapor vet though, I think I might try one when my 1.7lbs is over.
First off, i will briefly state my workout routine, Usually 15-25 mins each muscle, Monday-Friday(abs everyday though). In Order:
Day 1: Chest, Biceps, Triceps
Day 2: Back, Shoulders, Forearms
Day 3: Legs (inner/outer Quads and Calves)
Then repeat back to Day 1.
I am also unsure about cardio, and protein shakes, I want to gain mass/Strength and a stronger core but at the same time take only 2 scoops of protein after workout, maybe 1 before I go to bed because I hear before you sleep is another good time.
I also know its best to take protein as soon possible after weight lifting, the problem is, the gym I go to is about 10 mins away from my house, plus as soon as I am done lifting, I go on the treadmill, I am not sure if I should jog for 15-20 mins at 3-5 mph or a little faster like 5-8 mph for about 10 mins. (probably same as 1-2 miles) Then when I get home I do 5 mins of nonstop abs, about 20 different routines 10 reps each so probably equal to 200-250 crunches but all over the abs.
Then right after that thats when I blend my shake with 2 scoops of protein with a banana, sometimes I add grains or Ice cream and some other stuff...
So, what exactly does Super Pump do, I know its like a stimulant, I will be taking 1-2 scoops depending what Muscles I will work out, but does it like give a lot of focus? I didn't notice much focus increase when I took 2 scoops for the first time and I had eaten good and took a 3 hour nap before that. I think it increased my strength but not really sure I only been going to this gym for a few weeks hard to compare improvements in all the machines I use.
I also probably take a few hits of Marijuana after I work out or on weekends but not excessively. Marijuana seems to effect me kind of weird, Its like very mind expanding to me, and like I can kind of focus and learn things better stoned,(In fact I learned about 90% of the songs I know on piano stoned, by watching, soon I'll learn sheet music) but at the same time I can get tense more if im under pressure when im stoned... If that helps for anyone who's familiar with this stuff that would be useful.
So any more information would be helpful. I have this old blender but it still works good that I will use with 1 scoop per 8-10 oz. of water.... Um I am on my 2nd day of taking Super Pump, I took 2 scoops today and I did day 1 routine, I am impressed with my strength improvements, I did the seated bicep curl machine, 145lbs about 5-8 times when i worked on arms, I only did 130 like 6-8 times before super pump.
If you can help me will all or part of my workout plans, I would greatly appreciate it, Please don't give me a lecture on my lifestyle about marijuana being bad, My older sisters smoked it and probably still do and one just graduated from collage and is a dentist or something making an annual of $ 100,000- $ 150,000/Year and my other one is doing very well in collage. I know people who smoke up to 10 times more than me and I just took a 6 month break off after being a pothead for about 3 years.
NOTE: I don't care about weight loss diets or appetite suppressants, or anything of that nature, after all, Marijuana makes me more hungry and therefor eat more...
As for my goals, I am currently about 158 lbs and 5"11. I don't want to get freakishly buff and I am far from it. My 6 pack shape is coming in, but I still need about 1-2 months of doing these ab exercises everyday to really get the 6 pack and solid core.
I also started using the sitting chest press machine at the gym, I start off with about 2 sets of 8-12 reps of 160 lbs then finish off with about 220 lbs 4-8 reps 2 sets then I do some pec fly with the other machine for inner pecs. Then I go to the sitting Bicep Machine and I do about 130-145 Lbs for 6-10 reps. I am pretty strong for my size but I am hoping Super Pump will only increase those numbers.
Also any tips on they best protein powder out there, preferably a bulk 10 or 15 lbs but not too expensive.

As for Yamster, Thanks, But I have just started this Routine and it seems to work very well for me, A friend of mine does the same thing and he is in very good shape and I am seeing results already after 2 weeks. As for the protein I would rather just take it once after I workout and maybe before or after bed. I dont want to get complicated with different types of protein powders, I am sure theres a slow digesting one for both post workout and before bed. And as for that website for cardio you gave me, it seems very complicated theres like a lot of parts and some links dont work. Thanks.

Your day 1 is all screwed up. You do chest with tries and biceps with back.. Try not to focus main muscle groups on the same day, you want to do primary with secondary. Get at it...............

Well, you seem to have somewhat knowledge of bodybuilding, but there are definitely flaws in your routine. First of all, cut the cardio.
Either you are bulking up or reducing bodyfat, you can't do both together, to reduce bodyfat you need to burn more calories than you consume, and to bulk up you need to consume more calories than you can burn.
To bulk up you should be doing a variety of exercises and about 3 sets of 6-10 repetitions for each. Your weights should be heavy enough that you can lift it no more than 6-10 times. Then, to completely fatigue slow-twitch muscle fibers you would have to use a lighter weight for more repetitions.
When reducing bodyfat you should try HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). It is the only cardio exercise that does not burn muscle. It burns fat 9 times more effectively than any other cardio as well, making it perhaps the best type of cardio for a bodybuilder. You should be doing HIIT 2-3 times a week on off-days from weightlifting.
The best protein powder out there is perhaps Whey. It should be taken both pre and post-workout. Forget Super Pump, if you're getting good results you can stick with it, but otherwise, I highly recommend Whey. Also, you can go ahead and try NO-Xplode, but I've heard a lot of bad reviews about it not working.
By the way, when you are bulking, you do no cardio, bodybuilders have a bulking and cutting season, during bulking season there is no cardio and an excess of calories. During a bulking season there is cardio and a deficit of calories.
Make sure the sources of your foods are all healthy, junk food does good for no one. Another thing, you probably didn't know this, you need protein every 3 hours to keep in a positive nitrogen balance (state keeping you from burning muscle mass as fuel for energy).
During the nighttime, you won't be getting any food for hours, so you need a slow-digesting protein right before bed. I highly recommend Casein protein for this, which can be bought at your local vitamin store.

Edit: Ok, if you decide to change that routine at some point you can use my advice. If you don't want too many different protein powders I think you should at least get Whey, and the most important time to have it is post-workout if you take it only once.
Also, like I said, your body burns muscle mass as fuel for energy when you don't get protein every 3 hours. So at night, if you don't take Casein, you should take 4 cups of milk or a cup of cottage cheese instead, since both are full of Casein.
And for your main question, like I said, if Super Pump is helping, you can take it, Whey is by far my recommendation. And I haven't heard many good reviews on NO Xplode or NaNo Vapor. Some people claim No Xplode doesn't work. I don't really know since I haven't taken it. You can try them out and see for yourself.
