Chantix, anyone?Has anyone tried that new smoking cessation medicine called Chantix? If so, how did it work for you?

It absolutely works, plus it also works if you have an alcohol problem. Chantix is the ONLY drug out there that shuts down that part of the brain that affects one's desire for either cigs or alcohol.
There was just an item 2 days ago stating this when I read the online news.

I've been using Chantix for 6 weeks, and haven't smoked for 4 weeks! I had terrible tummy trouble in the beginning, but instead of taking two a day, I switched to one and I'm fine. I think it works great, but you have to be mentally ready to quit.

Two of my coworkers have used Chantix and they have both quit smoking. One lady was a smoker for more than 30 years and she can't believe that it actually worked. She had tried everything. Her quit day was April 1, 2007 and she started taking the pill 7 days before she wanted to quit. She recommends it to everyone.

I smoked for thirteen years at one pack a day. I would highly recommend it. I had only one side effect which was nausea up to an hour after taking it. It didn't bother me enough to quit taking it though. Chantix is truly a blessing!!!! By the way I'm 2 months out from smoking and felling great with no regrets. I haven't really wanted one either.
