Do marathon runners have significantly lower rates of heart disease and strokes?If I run an average of two marathons a year, will that decrease my chance of getting a heart attack or stroke. I eat relatively healthy and do not smoke or drink. My genetics are bad, though, because both my parents have heart disease and my dad has had three strokes already.
