How long does nicotine take to completely leave your system?In how many days does it clear from your entire system? Also, when a hair test is given can they detect nicotine? If they can, is there a way to get rid of it without shaving off all your hair?

It should be gone in a couple days to a week.
Probably much longer from hair but the hair can probably pick it up if you're around smokers.
If it shows up just tell them you quit smoking but you chew the nicotine gum.

it takes 7 days for it to be gone from your system.. so after a week, the physical addiction is over.. after that it's all mental addiction..

Well it stay in over a month sometime and yes with your hair it can be detected! but nicotine isn't illegal
