I'm grinding my teeth out of no where. Is it because I stopped smoking, or because I took adderall?I've always thought I had ADD. I was tested for it as a child and it said I have a slight case of it. I'm not sure if it wore away or not. But!
Today I used 1 adderall to see how it would effect me.
I noticed a positive change in my attitude and work habits!
But ever since I chewed a piece of "Big Red", I seem to be grinding my teeth out of no where. I don't notice that I'm doing it, and when I do I try to stop myself. The feeling is kind of like I have to do it, like OCDish.
Anyways, I also stopped smoking marijuana for a few days now, and today is the 2nd day I havent. I smoked much more than I should of over the past 7 months.
Could the grinding be because of the adderall, or because of quitting?
Thank you!
(please don't tell me what to do, and what not to do. I didn't come here asking for a lecture on why its bad to smoke pot.)
Let me point out again, I stopped smoking
MARIJUANA, not TOBACCO

Adderall could definitely be the culprit, complicated from increased stress from recently quitting the pot. When I've taken adderall the effects were similar to smoking methamphetmine.

could be both.
withdraw from cigarettes = increase stress ---> grinding teeth
or just another side effect from the medication.

It is more then likely both , I take adderal f and I found my self grinding my teeth when I first started taking it . If it keeps on then you may want to talk to a doctor .

no. teeth grinding is caused by mis-alignment of jaws. and nothing to do with smokin or marijuana.

Your quit may have some effect on your sub-conscience level that's disturbing you. For now, get a mouth guard, but refrain from smoking or it'll get worse. Just turn a new page and see what is only in front of you.
