Hitler was the worst of everything: an ex smoker who kicked the habit, and became one of the world's first anti-smoking lobbyists. He created a lot of anti smoking laws, and encouraged people to stop smoking.

A makes not much sense: in those days one smoked tobacco or nothing. Marijuana was known, but (very) few people smoked it. Opium was a possibility, though.
