quitting smoking loosing and weight is just a battle!!?i starting a weight watchers and go to the gym as often as i can while not working, so i successfully lost2 and a half stone but could do with loosing another... the thing is... i'm in the process of quitting smoking and oh my god!! i am always searching for food instead! i'm scared that if ican't beat these cravings i'm gonna undo all my good work both with the weight and the smoking. I gave up smoking before while i was pregnant so i know i can do it although i had a massive insentive and i do now as my daughter is 3 and asked me to stop!! any ideas to stop me from forraging in the fridge while craving a smoke???

When you quit smoking your quiting a craving as well, so your body has to have something to fulfill that craving so you will start to crave food. The worst of it is normally in the first 2 weeks of not smoking. An also quiting smoking, as well as drinking can cause weight gain.

Smoking is harder to quite than anything. I took a pill called "Champix" that took away the cravings and I just had to battle the habit of when I smoked. I ate allot of mints and that helped. In a few weeks that habit will go away.
