slight irritation in the heart......smoking?ive been smoking for the last 5 years.....im 20 and i smoke around 4-8 cigarretes a day...i quit for an year in between but i started again........3 days ago i was experiencing an increase in my heart rate and palpatation and yesterday i was having a slight pain in my heart....i cant quit as after every hour i want to smoke......should i get myself checked and if so then wot tests shud i get done.......and i smoke benson and hedges oo

Save yourself. Drop the smoking. See if it gets better after a week or two. If not go get it checked out.

You need an EKG and treadmill stress test to check on your heart. After that don't worry but stop smoking anyway.
