What are my health risks after smoking less than one year?

you could easily have cancer after that period of time also the heat from smokes melts the parts of your lungs that trap in oxygen making it harder to breathe and clogs your lungs with tar. it is entirely possible that you could have contracted cancer already and no symptons have shown yet also you will have damaged your lungs to an extent to which they cannot repair, get checked for cancer and rewrite your will, get your affairs in order you could be in danger of losing your life anyday now, or maybe not, but still its fairly possible.

cancer. YOU could have it!

If you're worried about it you should have a checkup every six months, get a lung xray and ask your doctor how to know if you have cancer. If you keep getting checked up you'll find out if you have something. I would guess that the chances aren't as high as someone that has been smoking for 10 years.

You would most likely undergo withdrawal. Right now, it would be difficult for you to resist the urge of smoking again. You can try chewing a gum because it helps fight the temptation of smoking. You can also go on an every other day diet of healthy foods to help your body and specifically the lungs be healthy again. Also, don't forget to do some exercises daily.
