Im looking for ature andhonest answers here, its a persons health at risk. im looking for what could happen if you smoke marijuana before or after having an abortion. Doctors say to wait 2 weeks for any asprin, drugs or alcohol usage.

well assuming you get an abortion you should definitely NOT smoke for at least the two weeks because it can cause hemorrhaging and that's never good.
i understand that the abortion may be personal choice, but sometimes it's not the best for your body. it has consequences that you have to understand.

They reason they would probably tell you not take aspirin or drink is because they are blood thinners... If you do these things before you could potentially bleed a lot during surgery to where it will really harm you. Same with after... however ive never heard marijuana being a blood thinner.

Scientists have been researching connections between smoking and Alzheimer's disease for at least 20 years, yet dozens of studies appeared to come up with different results. The research team out of the University of California, San Francisco has a suggestion as to why that might be. "A lot of the classical studies were supported by the cigarette companies...We did a statistical analysis of all of the different studies done on Alzheimer's and found that the research funded by the tobacco industry tended to use inferior methods." Dr. Glantz said. "What we found was that [tobacco industry advisers] actually came up with a memo, that stated they were no longer going to use cohort studies, and it was because one of their paid consultants, PN Lee, looked into the situation and found that cohort studies were more likely to produce smoking as a risk factor." Smoking increases the risk of Alzheimer's disease by almost a factor of 2. So contrary to the widely held view that smoking actually protects people from Alzheimer's disease.
