Yes and that is the real case.I experience that, even i drop years ago and the attack happens later.Please stop smoking,a few of my friends die partly ,they are smoker.Stop before it is too late.

Cigarettes, yes. Fortunately recent studies show that for those smoking less than a pack and a half a day, the elevated risk of a heart attack goes away if you stop smoking. For those smoking more than a pack and a half a day, it never goes to zero but drops to only 22% of above normal. For those who are actively smoking, the heart attack risk is several times what it is for non-smokers.

Marijuana doesn't seem to decrease life expectancy.
