Why is there so much weed smoking at concerts?i mean every concert i go to its almost legal. For instance the most recent concert i've been to i was sitting on the grass watching the concert and beside me theres an old couple, smoking pot out of a pipe. Then behind me, theres a group of college kids with literally a ziplock bag of weed. And there is security but they just dont care. Honestly i've smoked weed multiple times and am not bashing on it. But why is it that they dont care? Its almost like a legal place to smoke

most security at concerts are fans they are hired by the people putting it on and usually are not real security

there's a difference between security and police. Security at concerts is mainly concerned about fights.

Weed = Enhances sounds, colors, sensations, etc. So being 'high' at a concert probably makes the experience better for some people.

It's all about tradition. Back in the 60's - 70's it was the normal thing to do, and it still rocks.
